What is a covered student?
A covered student is a unique active Moodle user with a student role in at least one course, category, cohort, or context where Ned Tools are enabled during the current billing period.
Count onceA student using Ned Tools in several covered courses still counts as one covered student.
Only where Ned is usedStudents in unrelated Moodle areas where Ned Tools are not enabled do not count.
Staff are not studentsTeachers, managers, administrators, and guests are not counted simply because they exist on the Moodle site.

What is a covered course?
A covered course is a Moodle course where at least one licensed Ned Tools feature is enabled, configured, or used during the current billing period. A course is counted once regardless of how many Ned plugins are used in it.
Example
A Moodle site might contain 3,000 users and 400 courses, while Ned Tools is enabled for only 420 students across 20 courses. The relevant usage is 420 covered students and 20 covered courses.
